The Little Red Providore

Known for it’s quaint steep streets and cute Workers Cottages Red Hill is one of my favourite Brisbane suburbs to explore and hang out. Located in a colonial corner store, The Little Red Providore stands out on Windsor Rd with its bright red door! The first thing I noticed when I walked in was an artisanal vibe. As a creative person I loved seeing a display of artworks for sale, locally crafted ceramics, jams, breads, milk and condiments just to name a few. The cafĂ© is also known for spontaneous menu changes guided by seasonal produce and the Chef’s inspiration. This visit was my third and having only previously ordered the Brioche Breakfast burger I decided to try something different from the menu. We ordered the big breakfast to share: grilled haloumi, bacon, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, avocado, scrambled eggs, rocket and homemade tomato sauce on sourdough toast but swapped the sourdough with brioche.
